Rockwool As A Growing Medium

I've tried a lot of growing mediums such as peat pellets,peat pots, potting soil,peat moss and others and have found rockwool superior to any I've tried.

It retains moisture better than most other types and lets plant roots develop uninhibited. When it is time to trans plant, just plant the whole cube and you won't have as much shock from transplanting because you do not disturb the roots.

Soak the cubes for a while in water with your favorite nutrients added. I like liquid hydroponic formulas. Use a starter formula in a weak solution until the plants are up and growing.
